I have been wondering how people began and fostered having a fascination of spanking. This is sort of a continuation from previous weeks.

The question for today

How did you start to think of being spanked as something you wanted to happen, 

or 

if you are the spanker, how did you decide you wanted to be the spanker?

My fascination began as a youth, when I read a semi adult newspaper which featured a story about spanking, that implied a happy ending afterwards. A woman was to spank a young male, and he was looking forward to it, because of the happy ending. 

I re-read this many times over the next few years. I then started searching for spanking thoughts, and the joke type magazines of young beautiful women being spanked did the trick.Usully the women were smiling while being spanked.

When old enough to buy Penthouse, their letters to the editors started having spanking stories. Moning on they had short small booklet of only letters tot he editors, whcih always had spanking as a part of many letters, then Variations came out that always had a spanknig feature section.

Certain books had spanking, and, although I read them, I no longer remember the names. I still enjoy when Hermione posts segments from modern day spanking books. (visit Hermione's site : Hermione's Heart )

Older movies had spanking scenes, plus advertisements that showed action , the actors, and a spanking. 

Eventually Janus was available in Canada, and I purchased them regularly, then Februs, and others by Janus. 

Scarlett Hill had some great spanking stories, annd in thesse I gravitated to the strong woman spanking a man. In all the previous, i sort of identified as being the stronger spanker, but also being the person being spanked (that is: the woman)   I bought as many NNL (NO nonsense ladies) as I could. They shipped to Canada.

In summary, I had gravitated to all spanking scenarios, but I imagined myself as being the person being spanked, and dominated.

What are the three most used spanking positions when you are spanked?

Variety is the spice of life, but after many years of being spanked, I think most people use only a couple of positions for the spankee to be in. 

The reason being, in my mind, is that we evovle into using the easiest method for the spanker to give the most effective spanking.

Normally, when told  I am going to be spanked, I am either told by go upstairs and prepare, or most of the time "come upstairs". The " come upstairs" might be for a spanking I was NOT expecting, but I usually am made aware of a spanking about to happen today. 

method 1: pillows in the bed to raise my bare bottom, and Cindy standing spanking me. 

If Cindy is using the tawse, or the bath brush, it is used with effective force.

Method 2. If over the knee is the method for today, it is equally effective.

Has spanking helped increase or maintain an active sex life?

 Cindy is now quite happy when spanking me! 

for whatever reason she feels needs to be changed, or as a precaution before meeting friends and relatives, or for something I just did that upset her.

We are in our late 70's (past what one would LIKE TO call our middle 70's) and have a very exciting sex life after more than 50 years of marriage. 

I still get erections (sometimes) by being told I will be spanked, and the erotic thought fills the moment,

but age and knowing it will be a real spanking, not a play spanking, does temper my reaction sometimes.

Cindy is very receptive to love making the day after spanking me. but rarely the day of. 

A spanking is given for a reason, and is not rewarded with sex afterwards. Anticipation does exist however, for both of us, and the passion is even greater when making love.

Many things can get in the way of a couple having sex as they age, and to me I think spanking helps keep the love and sexual desire AWAKE!

I read F/m spanking captions almost daily, even when on vacation, and usually have a sexual reaction.  That facet certainly helps keep the sex drive functioning. 

You can never know the sex life of couples you know, but you can get some idea from whether they still care about their appearance, how they behave to each other, and how generally happy they seem to be.

We travel frequently, and having adventures, planning adventures, and simply living life to the fullest we can helps keep us healthy, and mentally stimulated.

It is a two way street. You both need to honestly care about each other, and enjoy each others company. At a certain age penetration may no longer be appropriate, but orally pleasing each other to orgasm is highly recommended.

Last point on sex: we are down(pun intended) to three times on average every two weeks, and they are fantastic. So much different from when we had children at home, where being quiet, or exhausted ruled the day. Plus no spanking back then.

Final last point: If your sex life has faded somewhat, do you think spanking helps keep it at a higher level than it would be if spanking did not exist.
